This course is designed to provide knowledge and experience in the management of major emergencies. For delegates who have actual or potential prospects of command, the course provides the first stage in the procedure leading to formal competency assessment.. The ERT is responsible for devising, executing, updating, and monitoring an effective plan of action, as well as responding to the various stages of emergency response. To ensure that the stages are appropriately implemented, the ERT conducts an annual evaluation, property, or the environment.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in emergency response, health and safety, or any offshore/onshore operational role is preferred.
  • Prior completion of basic safety training (e.g., BOSIET, HSE, or offshore safety training) may be required.
  • Good physical condition to handle the physical demands of emergency response situations.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills are essential, as the course involves coordinating in crisis situations.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, team-based environments.
  • A genuine interest in improving emergency management skills and responding to large-scale crises.
