Elite Offshore conducts specialized Marine Evacuation System (MES) training designed to meet the requirements of STCW 2010 Regulations A-VI/1-1 and A-VI/2-1, as well as SOLAS Chapter III, Regulation 19.3.3. This training provides seafarers and offshore personnel with the essential knowledge and practical skills required for the safe deployment, use, and management of MES during emergency evacuations. The course covers system components, safety precautions, step-by-step MES launching procedures, and the correct method of boarding survival craft through the evacuation slides or chutes. Participants also learn about crowd control, communication during emergencies, and coordination with rescue vessels as per international safety standards. The training includes hands-on familiarization using approved equipment, ensuring learners gain confidence in real-life scenarios.
