The Anchor Handling and Towing Course is designed to increase safety and offer a entire understanding of each the theoretical and practical aspects of anchor coping with and winch operation. - 8. Conduct risk assessments and apply risk management tools.
- 9. Deploy spring buoys over obstructions.
- 10. Differentiate anchor handling for Drillship, Semisub, Jackup, and Tender barges.
- 11.Configure towing bridles and ensure vessel stability during towing.
- 12. Apply non-chasing or buoyed system techniques.
- 13. Deliver, deploy, pull out, and retrieve anchors safely.

Requirements
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Industry Experience: Preferably some maritime or offshore experience.
- Basic Safety Training: Certifications like BOSIET or Seafarer’s Basic Training may be required.
- Medical Fitness: Recent medical certificate for physical suitability.
- Language Proficiency: Basic understanding of English or course language.
