Our intensive Scaffolder Safety Training Course is structured to equip commercial scaffolders, rigging crews, and industrial safety professionals with the vital technical skills required to safely manage staging infrastructure.
Led by elite, certified safety instructors, this certification focuses deeply on global safety standards, statutory compliance, and safe working procedures at height. The training structure consists of 1 day of comprehensive classroom theory combined with 2 days of practical, hands-on training at our dedicated facility.
Candidates will master a wide variety of frameworks, including:
Frame scaffolding systems
Tube and clamp scaffolds
Suspended and mobile scaffolds
Specialized offshore staging setups
What will I learn?
- 1. Regulatory Compliance: Master OSHA 29 CFR 1926.454 guidelines for the construction and offshore oil & gas industries.
- 2. Scaffold Varieties & Architecture: Understand modular, frame, mobile tower, birdcage, trestle, and bracket scaffolding systems.
- 3. Structural Stability & Foundations: Calculate load capacities, calculate weights, evaluate ground conditions, and execute secure anchorage methods.
- 4.Advanced Staging Techniques: Learn the proper application of ancillary gear, structural bends, hitches, and industrial safety nets.
- 5. Equipment Pre- & Post-Inspection: Identify component defects, material stress fractures, structural weaknesses, and damaged parts before deployment.
- 6. Hazard Identification & Safety at Height: Implement fall protection systems, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and spatial hazard prevention.
- 7. Access & Egress Management: Properly deploy and utilize heavy-duty scaffolding ladders, emergency stairs, and working platforms.
- 8. Emergency Response & Site Documentation: Master site first aid, team rescue communications, incident reporting, and mandatory workplace safety record-keeping.
- 9. Practical Field Training: Gain real-world experience erecting and dismantling complex multi-tier scaffolding structures.
